Sensor Lebih Besar, Gambar Lebih Baik

Sebagai kamera X-M pertama dalam lebih dari satu dekade, X-M5 dilengkapi sensor X-Trans 4 CMOS 26.1 MP, sama seperti kamera populer X100V, serta prosesor X-Processor 5. Sensor APS-C ini lebih dari 16 kali ukuran sensor smartphone rata-rata, sehingga menghasilkan warna yang lebih kaya, detail yang lebih tajam, dan performa cahaya rendah yang lebih baik. Desain pixel acak pada sensor ini meniru karakteristik film organik, menghadirkan warna yang halus dan meminimalisir artefak digital. Ukuran sensor APS-C juga memungkinkan efek bokeh lebih dalam serta pemisahan subjek yang lebih baik.

Audio Optimal, Video 6K

X-M5 dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konten modern, baik untuk audio maupun video. Dengan tiga mikrofon internal dan empat mode perekaman suara—Surround, Front Priority, Back Priority, dan Front & Back Priority—kamera ini mampu menangkap audio sesuai situasi. Tersedia juga port mikrofon 3.5mm untuk kontrol lebih lanjut, ditambah algoritma peningkatan suara dan pengurangan noise.

Mampu merekam video 6.2K pada 29.97 fps, X-M5 menggunakan setiap pixel di sensor 3:2 untuk video berkualitas tinggi. Berbagai fitur khusus vlogging juga tersedia, seperti:

  • Background Defocus: Memfokuskan subjek utama dengan mengaburkan latar belakang.
  • Product Priority Mode: Beralih fokus otomatis ke produk yang ditempatkan di dekat kamera, cocok untuk ulasan.
  • Portrait Enhancer: Meningkatkan tampilan kulit dengan opsi Weak, Medium, dan Strong.
  • 9:16 Short Movie Mode: Perekaman vertikal dengan durasi 15, 30, dan 60 detik untuk konten media sosial.

Saat merekam, layar akan menampilkan garis merah sebagai penanda. Autofocus berbasis AI juga hadir dengan pelacakan mata dan pengenalan subjek, serta dua Log mode untuk memudahkan proses color grading.

Simulasi Film dan Sains Warna

Dikenal dengan sains warna yang luar biasa, FUJIFILM membekali X-M5 dengan 20 mode Simulasi Film yang meniru karakteristik film klasik FUJIFILM. Hasilnya langsung bisa diterapkan untuk mengurangi proses editing. Selain itu, mode Grain Effect menghadirkan tampilan foto film lama yang bertekstur, serta efek Color Chrome dan Color Chrome Blue untuk meningkatkan kedalaman warna.

Desain dan Konstruksi

X-M5 merupakan kamera X-series paling kecil dan ringan, dengan bobot 354 gram (tanpa lensa) dan lebar 11.2 cm. Desain rangefinder hitam dilengkapi tombol atas untuk pengaturan mode, simulasi film, dan pengaturan lainnya. Mount lensa interchangeable kompatibel dengan lebih dari 35 lensa X-series.

Kamera ini dilengkapi layar sentuh LCD 3 inci yang dapat diputar untuk memudahkan perekaman diri. Lokasi port konektor telah dipindahkan ke sisi kanan, meminimalkan gangguan kabel. Port mikrofon yang dipindahkan ke belakang memberikan fleksibilitas lebih bagi aksesori perekaman.

Dukungan Bluetooth dan Wi-Fi memungkinkan berbagi gambar secara wireless atau menggunakan perangkat untuk mengontrol kamera dari jarak jauh. Integrasi Frame.io Camera to Cloud memungkinkan transfer foto atau video langsung ke cloud segera setelah dibuat.
